Karner Blue On Butterfly Weed
| A rare Karner Blue Butterfly, shot in the Allegan Game Area in southwest Michigan. This beautiful butterfly is on the US endangered species list, having suffered population declines due to the loss of habitat - specifically, areas rich in lupine, the only host plant for the Karner caterpillars.
