Lighthouses
(Click on an image to see the full sized picture.)

Michigan is known as the " third Coast" , and where there is a coast
there are bound to be lighthouses. these mighty beacons have served as navigation aids,
guiding many a sailor to safety along the Great Lakes shore.
Pictured here are Lighthouses from Michigan Upper Peninsula - like Crisp Point
and Point Iroquois - plus many lighthouses from the eastern shore of Lake Michigan -
like the South Haven, Grand Haven, and Holland Lights.

Included in this collection is Winter Splash, first place winner of Harbour Lights 2002
Lighthouse Photography Contest.
