So where has this flake been, and what happened to it while it was there? The detailed structures of the crystal formation are all but gone, especially in the center of the flake. But they are more clear at the tips of each of the spokes. It almost looks like the center of the flake brushed upon a heat source, and lost it's detail - but his little snow crystal was no more than a couple of millimeters across, so what affected it like this?
