Eastern Tailed Blue
A male calico pennant. I shot with the A*200 f4 macro wide open to minimize depth of field and create a somewhat blurred background, but focus stacked 8 exposures of the dragonfly itself, to keep it sharp.
This little sunflower was at most a couple inches in diameter - it grew in a small pot full of other flowers. A studio close-up from the archives.
It's not blue but its a Blue Dasher - only the males are blue, this is either a female or a youngster. An in field macro photo, from the archives.
